Ok so not all the years were blissful but that’s ok. That is what makes a marriage-real life and living it. This is one of the first years that Phil hasn’t taken the day off for our celebrations. That is because next weekend the boys will be going to Brit and Jonathan’s for a few days so we can have the house to ourselves. We will have to kick Lauren out for those days, but she already knows that. We also warned her if she stops by, we aren’t going to pay for any needed therapy for what she might see! lolol…
Ok, enough about that. Saturday evening was hard. Joyce’s memorial service was a tear-jerker. Christy played a song she wrote herself and it was lovely. Walt had a lot to say and told the story of how they met. The boys all shared as well. Then church friends, work friends and others told of their memories of Joyce. She definitely touched a lot of peoples’ lives.
Sunday was church and after lunch, Phil took the boys sled ridding down at the big Hinckley Hill. They had a blast. Poor Jake wrecked into others a few times.
I had a life altering memory come to me on Saturday evening. I went for prayer concerning it after church. I am still in shock about it. I need to not stuff it but deal with it. There are other issues going on as well but Phil and I are dealing with those. We keep plugging away.
I gotta make a dr.’s appointment for Jake. He is very stuffed up in his head and constantly clearing his throat. I am sure it’s a sinus infection. Poor kid.
Oh well, I will wrap this up with a statement of how good Hershey’s Special Dark chocolate is-Yummy!!!!!!!!!!
