Time for my weekly Thursday Thirteen
Thirteen reasons I moved my blog:
1. WordPress is simple to use.
2. MJ twisted my arm, not really.
3. I like the dashboard on WP rather than Blogger.
4. I like to change things up a bit now and then.
5. Even though my good friend updated the graphics at my other blog, and I appreciate her hard work, I think I will stay here.
6. I think change is good, did I say that already.
7. The widgets here are super cool.
8. I like the clean lines and clear directions.
9. WP has lots of cool templates. I will be changing mine from time to time just to find a favorite.
10. I can finally have a links bar on the side! I lost the code at blogger and lost my links while trying to change them.
11. Losing my links was rough so I like being able to start again here.
12. I hope my friends and readers don’t mind the change.
13. Change is good, even when painful, but this was the most painfree change I have had in a long time.

I considered switching to WordPress a couple of weeks ago, but ended up sticking Blogger, because I didn’t want to lose page ranking, etc. But I might use WordPress for any new blog. Happy TT!

I’m a blogspot user too, but there are some things at WP I like better, from what I’ve seen. Congrats on making the transition smoothly.

I have no direct experience with either blogger or wordpress. My blog is completely homebrewed. Happy TT.

I don’t find wordpress easy to use. I love the comments, but I have a terrible time. I guess I need some classes in css. I’ll give it another try. Have a great TT.

I’m sure WordPress is wonderful, but I’m happy with Typepad.
